WAMR provides several basic housekeeping functions that most Azure services can benefit from.  For example, I am asked all the time about the best way to back up a SQL Database.  Once backed up, how do I move the copy to an alternate data center?  For that matter, how do I copy any Azure blob or table to a secondary DC?  How do I ensure that my service is running and get notified if some aspect of it fails?  How do I get notified if my service outputs an error message to the diagnostics data store?  How do I optimize the cost relative to my user experience by automatically scaling the various elements of my service up and down?

The list goes on and on.  Hence, WAMR.
