Get The Source

On the “Source Code” tab there is a Download link that will zip up the source and make it ready for downloading.

You can unzip this into an empty solution directory and open the solution directly with Visual Studio 2012.  You will probably get some messages about source control.  If you want to eliminate these messages, remove the source control bindings by following the instructions that you’ll find here:

If you happen to be working with Visual Studio 2010, it’s not quite so straightforward.  I have worked with a partner to do this and there are a few steps:

  1. Unzip the source into an empty directory
  2. In Visual Studio, create a new Cloud Solution – named “wamr”
  3. Add a Worker Role – named “ManagerWorkerRole”
  4. Add the WASABi and Topaz packages via Nuget
  5. Copy the rest of the source into your project
